- Do I qualify for a free place?
If you are attending the conference as a representative of a World Heritage UK Voting Member organisation, that organisation is entitled to ONE free ticket.

Additional representatives from your organisation are welcome to attend the conference at the standard ticket rate. If in doubt, please email Chris.Mahon@worldheritageuk.org
- Do I qualify for a concessionary rate?
We can confirm that students and unwaged attendees qualify for the concession rate. If you do not fit into this category, you qualify for the early bird standard rate, or the full rate.
- I can’t book using the online shop, can I have an invoice?
If you are unable to use the online shop, we can issue an invoice for your registration fee. Please email the following information to Sam Noakes firstname.lastname@example.org, clearly stating the name of the conference that you are attending.
VAT Registration Number (if relevant):
Purchase Order Number (if required on the invoice):
Confirmation of which conference days that you will attend: (please specify 7, 8, 9, and/or 10 October)
Confirmation of which rate you are paying for:
- I am visiting from another country and need a visa to attend the conference, can I have an invitation letter?
We are able to issue an invitation letter for those that have registered for the conference.
Firstly, please register for the conference here.
Secondly, please send the following details to Catherine Adkins, who will complete a visa assessment and issue an invitation letter.

Important notice: Please ensure that you submit this information at least two months before the start of the conference. For later requests, we cannot guarantee that the invitation letter will come through in time for your application.
- What is the conference programme?

- How do I get to the conference venue?
Take a look at our ‘Getting Around’ page for helpful tips on how to get to the venue and around the Ironbridge Gorge.
We will be running a free shuttle bus service from Shrewsbury to the conference venue, via Telford. Pick up points will be in central locations to help people get to and from the conference each day. Details of the timetable will be announced in September.
- What hotels are available close to the venue?
Take a look at our ‘Hotels’ page for a list of recommended hotels close to the conference venue.
Please note that there is another international congress taking place in Telford at the same time as our event, so we recommend that you book your accommodation early to avoid disappointment!
- Are there any other conference activities happening as part of the programme?
In addition to the panel sessions, we are also organising some great conference activities that include walking tours and dinner. There will certainly be time for networking and seeing more of the spectacular Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site. More details about these will be announced on this website. Watch this space!
